Texas and Oklahoma - 3rd Regional Newsletter 🌱

Dear Vegan Leader,

A year ago, we started the experiment of giving extra support to corporate vegans in strategic locations. In Texas and Oklahoma, we have more than 250 local vegans (!) whose employers include Amazon, American Airlines, Apple, Bank of America, CBRE, CVS, Dell, FedEx, Goldman Sachs, HP, PwC, Raytheon, UnitedHealth Group and US Army. Many of you are Vice Presidents, Directors and Managers with lots of sway in your workplace. The vegans are mainly concentrated in:

Our goal is to support you with contacts and information so you can easily and effortlessly be a vegan influencer in your workplace. (It often means just being better tuned to moments where a comment uttered at the right moment to the right people results in a vegan menu or other wins.)

📣 Here is your Vegan Leaders Texas & Oklahoma 2026 action checklist:

1. Complete this quick poll NOW to confirm your communication preferences for 2026.

A few of you completed the test version last year but for most this will be new - it will only take a few minutes and you might enjoy the questions!

2(a). Make one new vegan friend in your city (company)

2(b). Make one new vegan friend in a more remote part of the state (they'll appreciate it!)

We can help with matchmaking! Just respond back to this email and I'll pick a great contact for you. If possible, I'll match you with a vegan who works at the same company as you.

3. Attend at least one vegan event this year.

Here are a few known events - save the date if these are near you. If not, just google "vegan event near me 2026". Lots of local vegan meetups or smaller events happen during the year even outside of major cities.
